Find the work you can act on
Open your phone queue. Jobs are grouped by building and floor when the list is large. Use the building and escalation filters to narrow it. Refresh the list when you need the current position.
Your assignments, provider and any own-staff services determine what you can see. You cannot close another team's private job by opening its link. An empty queue means no open jobs visible to you; it does not prove all scheduled checks are complete.
Close after fixing it at the location
- Go to the job's location and fix the problem following your employer's instructions.
- Scan or tap that location's tag using your enrolled browser.
- Open the visible job and use I've fixed this or the close action shown.
- Check the confirmation. If the job still appears after refresh, do not assume it closed.
Closing a job is distinct from recording routine work. It does not automatically complete a scheduled check or replace its checklist.
Undo a mistaken scan close
The worker who closed a job by scan can undo it for two minutes using the undo action offered. The job reopens and the confirmation of the visit remains. After that window, ask your supervisor for help; do not assume old records can be deleted.
A supervisor's remote close is not eligible for this scan-close undo.
Supervisor: close without a scan
Where authorised, open the job from your queue and choose Close without a scan. Select the reason and add a note where needed; Something else requires a note. Confirm only when the job should be closed.
The record explicitly says it was closed remotely by a supervisor and keeps the reason. This writes no visit confirmation and makes no claim that the supervisor attended the tag.
Escalation and contractors
Escalate when the building team needs to act. Their answer returns context to the team; neither the escalation nor the answer closes the job. For an eligible own-staff job, a supervisor of that building's own staff or its portal user can send it to an external contractor.
