Set up scheduled checks and rounds

Choose locations, weekdays and a time window, and understand when changes start.

Define the check

A scheduled check names the work expected at selected locations, on selected weekdays, within one same-day time window. The selected locations together form a round. At a shared site, the plan belongs to your company.

  1. Open the building's check setup, or Checks on the shared-site page.
  2. Name the round so the team and the report reader recognise the work.
  3. Select the locations, using floor and search controls where helpful. Selections outside the current filter remain selected, so review the full choice before saving.
  4. Choose weekdays, a start and later finish, and the appropriate work type or checklist.
  5. Review and save.

Split an overnight check into two windows; a single window cannot finish on the next day.

Changes start tomorrow

Creating, replacing or ending a schedule takes effect tomorrow. It does not rewrite what was expected earlier. If someone else has changed the plan while you were editing, reload it and review their changes before saving again.

A location switched off at a shared site produces no due checks while it is off. Check the site's time zone and the reporting cutoff: the report's day may span parts of two calendar days.

Complete checks at the location

Working staff scan or tap the location's tag and complete the due check there. The main work action aims at a check whose window is open. A repeat tap does not complete a later occurrence.

If the check cannot be done, record Unable to complete with a reason. If it becomes possible later, complete it: the result can change to done while the earlier reason stays on the record. Taking a visit photo, recording a specialist task or closing a job does not by itself fulfil a scheduled check.

Follow up without inventing a score

Supervisors use Today's checks to see what is done, due, later, missed or held up. That board does not record a check. Give context for an exception using the company's reasons; explanations can be changed within seven days unless the report containing that check has been approved.

SiteClara keeps the work and its context together. It does not turn the record into a worker score, attendance record or contract-compliance percentage.
