A report or new-job email is missing

Check the period, approval, recipient access and delivery before changing the setup.

Identify the message you expected

A daily report, a supervisor's new-job alert, an escalation text and a contractor-visit email have different triggers. Start with the building, date, intended recipient and message type.

A new job does not automatically text staff. A supervisor's new-job email requires a confirmed alert address and a job in their scope. Repeated reports joined to an existing job do not generate another new-job alert.

Check the reporting period

Use the site's local time zone and cutoff, not just midnight. An evening check after the cutoff can belong to the next report. A plan created today starts tomorrow, so it should not appear as due today.

Check whether the work was accepted by the server, especially after a no-signal recording. A photo without a completion is not a completed check, and a job close is not a routine work confirmation.

Check approval where the report needs it

For a reviewed provider-led report, open Daily review and the date. If unapproved, it is held. At a shared building, each company approves its own section; one approved company does not approve the others.

Check the configured delivery time, 08:00 next morning by default for reviewed reports. Approving before the permitted cutoff is not a way to send early. Demo-only day-so-far sending is separate from real report delivery.

Check the recipient and their access

Confirm the report recipient address in the appropriate site or provider setup. For shared report pages, the reader needs to accept their separate site invitation using the invited email. Phone enrolment as Building manager is not that invitation.

Ask the recipient to check spam and organisation quarantine. Review any failed-delivery feedback in Daily reports. A configuration check or saved recipient is not proof the email arrived.

The email looks shorter than the web record

Manager emails deliberately lead with completed work and what needs the manager's help. Unexplained scheduled misses may be absent from that email while remaining in the detailed record and the provider's own round-up. Expand the relevant round on the web page before treating this as missing data.

Give support the details needed to investigate

Email your organisation, site, report date, expected message type and delivery time, and any visible error. Describe whether the review is approved and whether the intended reader accepted their invitation. Do not send private sign-in, invitation or contractor links.
